Sports activities in the Ardennes

Nature in the Ardennes entices you to stay active. For example, you may play tennis with others on the park's tennis court, which is surrounded by woodland. What a fantastic setting!

Kids

Landal Village les Gottales offers a playground with a view. While you sit on the bench, the kids may play on the slide and swing, and create sandcastles in the sandpit. It's a win-win situation.

Pre-order sandwiches for the next morning at reception. These will be brought straight to your doorstep so that you may begin your day with fresh bread rolls. Isn't that ideal?

In and around the park

Enjoy the outdoor Ardennes life at Landal Village les Gottales. You can hit a ball on the idyllically located tennis court, take the kids to the playground at the park, and enjoy a nice game of pétanque or table tennis in the evening. Adventurers can walk down the mountain and enjoy kayaking, canoeing or rafting on the Ourthe or Amblève rivers.

Kayaking, canoeing and rafting

A walk downwards leads you to the valley, where the Ourthe and Amblève rivers meander through the scenery. You can approach them bravely in a kayak, canoe, or raft. It's a lot of fun and a lot of sport, and it's a great opportunity to take in all of nature's splendor in a genuinely unique way. Equipment may be rented from local boat rental firms in this area.

A game in the open air

At the park, you'll want to spend as much time as possible outside, taking in the scenery. A game of table tennis or pétanque, or simply staying in the park, is a perfect opportunity to appreciate the tranquility and environment, as well as the outdoor Ardennes lifestyle.

Local swimming pools

The park is located in Trois-Ponts, which has a municipal indoor and outdoor swimming pool. You can have a great time swimming here. The town of Spa, about a half-hour drive from the park, has its own swimming pool for those who want to cool off in the water. So don't forget to bring your swimming suit!

Restaurants in the vicinity

You find at least 15 restaurants or snackbars in the surroundings (max. 10 min.’s drive from the parc), with a large choice of cooking: from typical Ardennes regional cuisine (gourmet or brasserie), to foreign cuisine (Italy, Asia, …). Bon appétit!
