Walking and cycling

Discover the area by bike or e-chopper! Simply rent your two-wheeler at the park and head out to discover the nature of Westerwold or the fortified town of Bourtange.

Stand up paddling

Rent a sup and take a peaceful trip to explore the idyllic waterways in and around the park.

Fun is guaranteed at Landal Landgoed Bourtange! Enjoy the natural swimming pond and the municipal outdoor swimming pool next to the park. As a guest you also have free access to the De Barlage indoor swimming pool, a 15-minute drive from the park. Discover the area by bike or from a sup board (both available for rent at the park) and then enjoy a drink and a snack in the cosy restaurant. You can shop for essentials at the mini shop and use the bread service for a fresh breakfast. Young guests can clamber and climb in the adventure playground and enjoy day full of fun.

Indoor swimming pool nearby

As a guest of Landal Landgoed Bourtange you have free access to the indoor swimming pool De Barlage, about a 15-minute drive from the park. Have fun in the recreational pool with water slide, swim laps in the instruction pool or relax in the whirlpool. There is also a heated paddling pool for the little ones.

Food and drink

Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the cosy restaurant at Landal Landgoed Bourtange. You can also have lunch, dinner or order a takeaway here. It is also possible to order fresh rolls for breakfast that can be collected the next morning or shop for essentials in our mini shop.

With your dog

Dogs are more than welcome at Landal Landgoed Bourtange (in selected accommodation), and here they can have a real holiday of their own! Explore the beautiful nature and hiking trails in the area with your four-legged friend, or visit the large nature reserve located nearby, where dogs can run and play freely. Then, after a long day of fun, you and your dog can relax in pet-friendly accommodation. Select one or more pets in your travel group to see which accommodation they are welcome in.
